A stretch of Crescent Creek was named part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System in 1988. Designated "recreational", the segment below Crescent Lake flows through a narrow canyon and a forest of old-growth pine.〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher=National Wild and Scenic Rivers System )〕 One of Crescent Creek's tributaries, Big Marsh Creek, is also part of the wild rivers system.〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher=National Wild and Scenic Rivers System )〕 The upper of the Little Deschutes is part of the system too.〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher=National Wild and Scenic Rivers System )〕 The creek supports native rainbow trout, non-native brown trout and brook trout, and other species.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsinternet/!ut/p/c4/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3gDfxMDT8MwRydLA1cj72BTJw8jAwjQL8h2VAQAzHJMsQ!!?ss=110601&ttype=recarea&recid=74141&actid=43&navtype=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&position=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&navid=110190000000000&pnavid=110000000000000&cid=null&pname=Central+Oregon+-+Crescent+Creek )〕 The healthy and remote riparian zone along the upper creek supports a diversity of grasses, sedges, willows, and many species of birds, mammals, and amphibians.〔 Crescent Creek Campground, about west of Crescent, has nine individual camping sites, potable water, and a vault toilet. Open from mid-May through September, it is relatively remote and quiet, with opportunities for bird-watching and fishing.〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher=United States Forest Service )〕 A stream gauge operated by the United States Bureau of Reclamation at the outlet of Crescent Lake shows an average highest discharge of about to Crescent Creek in August. The average discharge drops to its lowest, about , in November.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.usbr.gov/pn-bin/graphwy.pl?creo_q )〕 ==See also== * List of National Wild and Scenic Rivers * List of rivers of Oregon 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Crescent Creek」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
